Empty
Late at night
Can't hear a sound from outside
All alone with my own thoughts
Nowhere to go to or someone to run to
Each day's a brand new day
But my pain remains from yesterday
Lonely is not the consequence
No one to talk to or somewhere to escape to
When you feel empty and your world is crumbling down
When all you want is to lie down and cry
If all you want is the sun to stop shining so bright up in the sky
You see no light at the end of the tunnel
Darkness is your only friend and confident
Ease yourself off
And put yourself together
There's only one way out
Have a thought over it
That's the only way out
